- Does a vehicle start?
- We handle many thousands of vehicles each year so we cannot look at each car to ensure it starts and drives. Vehicles are moved around our site by specialist fork lifts and we do not employ the additional staff to thoroughly check out each vehicle.
- The majority of vehicles do start and we provide heavy duty battery packs to assist our customers who wish to hear engines running.
- All repairable vehicles are sold as seen without warranty
- When do more vehicles arrive?
- Vehicles are arriving daily from several major insurance companies and are sold on a 'first come first served' basis.
- A £100 deposit will secure your purchase.

- How do I pay?
- All vehicles must be paid for in full prior to collection or delivery.
- We accept cash, cheques with bankers card, debit cards and most major credit cards or simply transfer the amount direct to our Bank.
- Vehicle Deposit Payments - A non-refundable deposit secures any vehicle for 7 days. The minimum deposit is normally £100.
- Vehicle Balance Payments - Vehicle balances paid by credit card are usually subject to a surcharge of 2% - to recover fees we pay to the credit card companies.
- Have you the parts to repair the vehicle?
- Almost certainly! Just ask!
- Thousands of late model vehicles are dismantled each year so the choice of guaranteed second-hand parts is huge.

- How much will it cost to repair the vehicle?
- We cannot provide detailed quotations for the repair of vehicles - we simply sell far too many.
- You are welcome to ask your chosen repairer to discuss with us or, alternatively you may ask a friend or independent engineer to come and inspect the vehicle on your behalf.
- Can you deliver?
- We offer a very competitive delivery service covering the Northwest, the Midlands and North Wales. Prices start from £30 plus vat. We will be pleased to quote for delivery outside these areas on request.
- Please note that our delivery drivers cannot accept payment for vehicles.
- VAT
- Cars generally do not attract VAT - the price you see in our advertisements is the price you pay.
- Vans and commercial vehicles are subject to VAT, which is added at the current rate.

At Longlife Spares we always have a good stock of late-registered cars that are able to be repaired satisfactorily.
Note that we do not run a car salvage auction on our site. Every vehicle you see in our yard is individually priced according to model, age and condition - agree to that price and it's yours.
Salvage cars that are repairable cars consists of vehicles classed as uneconomic to repair by insurance companies using new parts and high hourly labour rates. All vehicles offered for sale have been categorised as suitable for legitimate repair in accordance with ABI guidelines.
This provides an ideal opportunity for our customers, using their own labour and secondhand or pattern auto parts to keep costs down, resulting in a vehicle considerably cheaper than forecourt prices.
With our high turnover of damaged repairable vehicles for sale at any one time and many being collected each month, there is a constant turnover of late model stock.
